Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar conducted a search operation at the railway station on Tuesday afternoon. CP itself reviewed the search operation at the railway station. The campaign included DCP Law and Order Alam Vijay Singh and ADCP City-2 officers, Police Force, ARP, RPF, GRP and Snifer Dog Team.
During the search operation, every part inside and outside the railway station was thoroughly examined. Suspected persons were questioned. Their belongings were searched. Stalls in the station premises were also examined with the help of Snifer Dog.
Own information of vehicles parked in parking was checked through the mobile app. Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the Commissionerate police is all ready to maintain peace and protect people in Amritsar city.
