On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared in the front line at the Summit of Shanghai Cooperation Sangathan (SCO) in Tianjin city of China. During this time a group photo of him was taken with big leaders of the world, in which he stood with Russian President Vladimir Putin and host Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan organized a great dinner for all the guests before this big meeting. This was SCO’s 25th annual meeting.

Modi and Shahbaz Sharif for the first time together
In the group photo, Xi Jinping was in the middle, he was accompanied by his wife and Russian President Putin. In this special photo, Prime Minister Modi was also standing in the front line. He was accompanied by Turkish President Rechep Tayyip Erdoan and Maldives President Mohammad Mujju. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was also present in this meeting. This was the first time after India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ when Prime Minister Modi and Shahbaz Sharif appeared on the same stage.
This time the SCO meeting included its 10 permanent member countries, besides many other countries, including guests and supervisors. Representatives of large organizations like Commonwealth of the United Nations, ASEAN and independent nations were also present here.
Prime Minister Modi is on a visit to China after seven years. During this time he will also meet Russian President Putin and will talk on the tax imposed by the US.
