Fazilka Government Model Senior Secondary School has been selected under ‘School of Eminence’. It was inaugurated by MLA Narinderpal Sawana on Wednesday. Today was the first day of school for 36 students of class IX. Meanwhile, Minister Harjot Bains encouraged the students by speaking through video call.
School principal Pradeep Kumar Khangwal, lecturer Kuldeep Grover and school media in-charge Sandeep Aneja said that 36 boys and girls were admitted on the basis of merit in the 9th class entrance examination on Monday, May 15. On this occasion, District Education Officer S. Sukhveer Singh Ball, AAP leader Arun Wadhwa, Pooja Luthra and all staff members were present.
On this occasion, MLA Savana said that the dream of becoming IAS, IPS, doctor, engineer, CA etc. will be fulfilled. He said that our government is going to open free coaching centers for educated youth to prepare for exams like UPSC, PCS. The School of Eminence will benefit from the experience of all principals trained from Singapore.
