Even after the tension between India and Pakistan is reduced, the administration is continuously issuing orders as caution. Due to this, the Fazilka district administration has taken back the decision to open the school and ordered to close all schools for the next 48 hours.

Earlier, after receiving the news of the ceasefire, the administration was ordered to open the school on 12 May, but on May 11 late in the evening, the district administration withdrew its decision and decided to close the school on 12 May.
Similarly, on May 12 evening today, Fazilka district administration decided to open the school on 13 May. Orders were issued to open all schools as before, but a few hours later the district administration has again ordered the closure of schools for the next 48 hours taking a U turn.
