Why is the railway and police administration sleeping?
Youngsters have seen stunts on social media and then get on the train and perform dangerous movements, record it in mobile and then make a reel and put it on their social media account. Sometimes when their hand or foot slips while performing stunts, dead bodies are found on the railway track.
Ludhiana station comes under Ferozepur division but no awareness campaign is being conducted to prevent violation of railway rules, so youth can be given direct route. Not only these, despite finding 2 to 3 dead bodies daily, the police are also sleeping, they are completing their work only by conducting post-mortem.
Social media should take strict action
In Ludhiana, the way youth are losing their lives in the rail circle, it needs to be taken seriously. The social media accounts of the youth who are doing such acts should be monitored and then the video should be removed from that social media platform. Not only these but such youth should be explained through counseling. Even older videos of stunts should be deleted, which young people would be impressed by seeing and then do such a life-threatening act.
