Actor Vivek Mushran, who has been identified with the song ‘Ilu Ilu’ from the 1991 film Saudagar, is seen in the TV show ‘Bahi Mat Ud’ these days. According to the actor, the TV content will have to change now, otherwise it will end.

My character is not the replica of Vijay Mallya
Vivek Mushran told about his new show, ‘This is a very different show. The comedy show did not come for a long time on the airlines. Talking about my character, he is the owner of the airline, who dies in the first episode. He wanted his son to be responsible, but he himself was a man of a little different mood.
When asked that his character looks like Vijay Mallya, he said, ‘There is no replica, but if you feel it is a good thing. There can be no better role model than that for a flamboyant airline owner. But we had no such intention.
TV has to change, Otherwise it will end
Talking on the television industry, Vivek said, ‘Setcom is my main dose. Earlier shows like ‘Sarabhai Verses Sarabhai’ and ‘Khichdi’ were hits, but then the era of mother-in-law came. Now the time has come that the TV will have to be changed or else it will end.
People are watching new and interesting content on OTT and YouTube. In such a situation, television also needs change. Colors has taken this step, which is a good sign.
The same type of content is being shown on OTT
Vivek said about the content coming on the OTT platform, ‘A formula has now been formed on OTT too. The same types of shows are being shown everywhere, especially the crime thriller and modern mystery. But it is expected that televisions also bring changes and are not limited to kitchen politics only.
It was not easy to come out of the stereotype
Vivek said about being typical in his career, ‘When I started in the industry, I was tied in the image of a romantic hero. People used to think that I could only do that. But I always tried to play different characters.
Regarding his career, Vivek said, ‘I am not satisfied yet. Till now he was doing tuk-tuk, now is time to hit sixes. I hope something good will happen.
When he was asked about a turning point in his career, he said, ‘Bhaskar Bharti was a turning point for me. I played such a role in it for the first time, where performance was more important. Before that I was stuck in the acting of Hero Type, where the looks were more important. But this show gave me a chance to adopt acting in a new way.

Vivek told that he is still a good friend from his ‘Saudagar’ co-star Manisha Koirala. He said, ‘We definitely meet 4-5 times a year. Whenever they get time, we sit together with our friend circle. ‘
