India attacked several Pakistan airbase under Operation Sindoor, which damaged the runways, hangers and buildings. These include Sargodha, Noor Khan (Chaklala), Bholari, Jacobabad, Sukkur and Rahim Yar Khan Airbase.
Now high quality satellite pictures of damage on airbase from the airspace have been revealed. Air Marshal AK Bharti had said on 12 May that India had targeted the select military target inside Pakistan.
Satellite photos of damage on airbase…
- Jacobabad airbase

The airbase is about 200 km from the international border. India targeted the hangar of Jacobabad Airbase. Hangar is a place where the aircraft is repaired and maintained. This picture of May 11 shows that the hanger was damaged and has debris. In the old picture of April 30, the structure looked fine.
- Bholari airbase

This is Pakistan’s new airbase which was operational in 2017. India attacked the hanger of Bholari airbase during the strike, causing great damage to its roof. In the satellite photo of 27 April, this hangar looked completely safe.
- Sukkur Airbase

The airbase is in Sindh province and Pakistan’s Southern Air Command operates it. The pictures of May 10 clearly show that structure caused heavy damage and debris has spread around. It has burnt grass and black marks on the ground, which probably caused the fire after the attack.
- Noor Khan Airbase (Chaklala)

This airbase is between Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Rawalpindi is the headquarters of Pakistan’s military and Islamabad is a political center. It was also targeted by India in the 1971 war. Many buildings are devastated in satellite photographs. All the buildings were in the right condition in the pictures of 25 April.
- Rahim Yar Khan Airbase

The airbase is in the Punjab province of Pakistan, and about 200 km from Bahawalpur in South. Bahawalpur is the same place where India made the first strike of Operation Sindoor on 7 May. Air Marshal AK Bharti showed a video of the damage done to the runway of this airbase at the press conference. The satellite photo shows a big pit on the side of the runway, which is made due to strike.
- Sargodha airbase

This airbase is very important for Pakistan Air Force. It is west of Lahore and about 200 km from the Punjab border. It was targeted by the Indian Air Force in the 1965 and 1971 battle.
In Operation Sindoor, India targeted the runway at two places here- one on interaction and the other main runway. In the pictures of May 10, big pits appear on the runway in both places. The difference can be clearly seen in photos of April 30 and May 10.
What was Operation Sindoor? India started Operation Sindoor on 7 May and attacked 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pak-Pakistan Jammu and Kashmir (Pojk). These attacks avenged the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, killing 26 people. Indian forces destroyed many camps of terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen and killed more than 100 terrorists.
Pakistan then attacked the western parts of India with drones and missiles, which India intercepted, after which India retaliated on military targets inside Pakistan. After a four -day drone and missile attacks, the two countries agreed on the ceasefire on Saturday and stopped the action immediately.
