Several Bills were passed in both houses amidst the uproar of opposition members seeking discussion on the voter list revision (SIR) in Bihar. In the Rajya Sabha, there was also a round of war between the House Leader JP Nadda and the opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Tuesday accepted a proposal to remove Justice Yashwant Verma of Allahabad High Court and announced the formation of a three -member committee to investigate the allegations against him. Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy, SP Singh Baghel told Parliament on Tuesday that the central government does not have a law to make a law to declare the cow as a national animal.
