Salman’s father and script writer Salim Khan married Sushila Charak in 1964. Sushila was born in the Marathi Hindu family. For marriage to Salim Khan, he admitted to Islam and named his name Salma. Salim married his second to actress Helen, who is Christian. By the way, not only Salman’s father, his siblings are also married in different religion.
