Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, arrested on the charge of attack on Saif Ali Khan, has filed a bail petition in the Mumbai Sessions Court. The accused has claimed that a false case has been registered against him and conspiracy is being done to trap him.
The lawyer of the accused said- all the allegations are false
The counsel for accused Shariful Islam has said in the petition that false allegations are being made on his client. He is not involved in any crime. The lawyer said, the FIR has been made incorrectly. Shariful Islam has fully supported the investigation. All the evidence ranging from the CCTV footage and call records of the police is already present. Due to which there is no question of tampering with the evidence of the accused.
Bandra Police has not yet filed a charge sheet in this case. Soon the court may hear the bail plea of Shariful.
Saif accused of attacking
Let me tell you, Shariful Islam is accused of entering Saif Ali Khan’s house with the intention of stealing at 2 pm on January 15. Saif attacked with a knife. During the attack, he had a knife at 6 places including throat, back, hand and head. After this attack, Saif Ali Khan was taken to Lilavati Hospital at night. The actor was treated for 5 days.
Bangladeshi citizen is Shariful Islam
Police received Bangladeshi Icard and driving license from Shariful Islam. He was illegally living in Mumbai with his name Vijay Das. The accused had been living in Mumbai for five months and used to work as housekeeping.

3 women and 3 male servants were present in Saif’s house at the time of the attack.
Saif Ali Khan had 3 female and 3 male servants during the night attack. Ibrahim and Sara Ali Khan also live on the eighth floor in this building. After the attack, he came up and went to the hospital in an auto with Saif Ali Khan. No driver was present at home. No one knew the automatic electric vehicle, so Auto reached Lilavati Hospital by auto.
