Russia carried out drone attacks on Ukraine’s capital Kiev on Saturday night, killing three people. Local officials gave this information on Sunday. At least 29 people, including seven children, were injured in the attacks on Kiev for the second night in a row.
Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klimenko said those killed included a 19-year-old girl and her 46-year-old mother. A Russian drone strike caused a fire in two residential buildings in the Desnyansky district of the capital.
Emergency crews evacuated residents from a nine-story building and a 16-story building. Russia attacked Ukraine with 101 drones on Saturday night, 90 of which were shot down by Ukrainian forces, according to the Ukrainian Air Force. However, drone attacks caused damage at four places.
