19 -year -old NEET candidate Deepak Gupta was brutally murdered by animal smugglers in Mauchapi village of Pipraich police station area of Gorakhpur. This was followed by violent demonstrations, stone pelting and road jam. In this incident, SP North Jitendra Srivastava and Pipraich police station in -charge Purushottam Anand Singh were injured. SSP Raj Karan Nayer of Gorakhpur said that the incident took place at around 12:30 pm on Monday night in Mauchapi village of Pipraich police station area. The smugglers arrived by three vehicles; Villagers, including Deepak, opposed them while opening the cattle. The smugglers kidnapped the lamp, rotated him for an hour, crushed his head and threw the body 4 km away.

Raj Karan Nayyar said that we received information at around 3:00 am that the animal smugglers had come to a village with two pickup vans. During this time, when the villagers chased him, a car got stuck in the village, which ran his people. A young man from the village chased another car, the smugglers took him in his car and later pushed him from the car. Due to which he suffered an injury to his head and he died after falling on the road. On the complaint of family members, a case has been registered in the relevant sections and post -mortem action is being taken.
On Tuesday morning, protesters blocked the Gorakhpur-Pipraich route; Police force and PAC of four police stations were deployed. SSP Raj Karan Nayyar has filed a case; Five teams are looking for the accused smugglers. A smuggler was caught and beaten by the villagers. The police clarified that Deepak did not die due to bullet. SSP Raj Karan Nayyar said, “There are no bullet marks in it. Our five teams are currently in it. Our teams will soon arrest the accused. A search operation is going on in the village. A animal smuggler is being beaten and beaten by the villagers. He is undergoing treatment … During this time a policeman has been stoned.
Angry villagers blocked the Gorakhpur-Pipraich route; A police officer was injured in the clash. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed strict action; Senior officials including DM Deepak Meena met the victim’s family. Describing the incident as tragic, DM Deepak Meena of Gorakhpur said, “This is a tragic, painful incident and strict action is being taken by the police. The teams are constantly roaming and we will take strict action against the culprits as soon as possible. Apart from this, whatever amount and assistance of the family were, whatever amount and assistance will be approved, whatever they will get. The priority is to get the postmortem done. ” Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also issued instructions regarding the incident, after which the District Magistrate, Senior Superintendent of Police, Inspector General of Police and other senior officials reached the spot immediately. All senior officials are talking to the victim’s family. Strict action will be taken against the culprits as per the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi.
