Ruckus over Urvashi’s statement, Priest
In an interview to Dainik Bhaskar, Urvashi Rautela claimed that the Urvashi temple was built one kilometer from the famous Badrinath temple in Uttarakhand.
Urvashi described the 108 bench temple as his own. The actress has provoked pilgrimage-priests associated with Badrinath. Bhuvan Nautiyal, former Dharmadhikari of Badrinath Dham, said that local devotees continue to visit the mother Urvashi temple. There are many religious events in the temple on the occasion of Navratri. Maa Urvashi temple is seen connecting with Lord Shiva. The former Dharmadhikari said that it is not right to connect the temple of Goddess with her name.

On the claim of Urvashi Rautela, Amit Sati, president of Brahmakpal Tirtha Purohit Samaj, said, ‘Urvashi’s statement has hurt the feelings of Hindus. Urvashi apologizes to her statement, otherwise be prepared for the result.
Wish that my temple should be built in South too- Urvashi
Not only this, in this interview, Urvashi Rautela had said, ‘In the last year and a half, I have worked with three big superstars of South like Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan. I wish that now my temple should also be built in South. In the Hindu College of Delhi, students have worshiped me as Damdami Mai. This is an annual puja, in which the students chose me.
Let me tell you, the mother Urvashi temple is located in Bamani village of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Bamani village is about one kilometer from Badrinath Dham. Most of the devotees coming to Badrinath Dham also visit this temple.
