RSS’s Jodhpur meeting: Social harmony, national unity will be contemplated, nadda will also be present

A three -day All India Coordination meeting of senior officials of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its associate organizations will be held in Jodhpur, Rajasthan from Friday. The meeting will also include RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and it will include about 320 delegates from 32 affiliated organizations. BJP President JP Nadda will also attend the RSS meeting. According to Sunil Ambekar, head of the RSS National Publicity and Media Department, the objective of this conference is to promote strong cooperation between the participating groups, rather than passing the proposal or taking formal decisions.

Ambekar said that this platform is not to take decisions as each organization has its own executive body. He said that representatives of all the organizations participating in the meeting would hold extensive discussions on major issues related to national unity, security and social perspective. He said that he would also present an assessment of the current status of the country based on his grassroots experiences and exchange views on regional issues of states like Punjab, West Bengal and Northeast.

Meanwhile, BJP President Nadda reached Jodhpur this evening to attend the meeting. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma arrived at Jodhpur Airport on a brief tour to receive Nadda and returned to Jaipur from there. RSS chief Bhagwat reached Jodhpur on Monday for the meeting. The RSS meeting will discuss five comprehensive topics: promoting social harmony, strengthening family institution, encouraging environment-friendly lifestyle, recognizing regional identity.
