Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will be on a three -day visit to Odisha from August 13. During this time he will meet Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati of Puri and will participate in an event in Cuttack.
Senior RSS officer Sumant Kumar Panda informed that Bhagwat will reach Bhubaneswar on the evening of August 13 and stay in the Utkal Bipna Assistance Committee office in Mancheshwar area.
Panda said in a statement that Bhagwat will attend the Gaudiya Vaishnavism Conference at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack on August 14 as the chief guest. After this, he will visit the Sreejgannath temple in Puri in the evening and later meet Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati of Puri in Gobardhan Peeth.
Bhagwat is scheduled to return from Odisha on August 15. According to Panda, the RSS chief last visited Odisha in May last and held a meeting with select volunteers of the Sangh.
