Regarding the centenary celebrations of the RSS, Hosbale said- The centenary year of RSS is not a celebration but an opportunity to introspect, accept and organize society.
Sunday is the last day of the three -day meeting of the All India Representative Assembly of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosbale of the Sangh made a statement about the ongoing dispute over Aurangzeb’s tomb in Maharashtra.
Hosbale held a press conference and asked- Can Aurangzeb be an icon for the people of India. The icon of the country will be an outsider or someone else. It requires thinking.
Hosbale also questioned 4 percent Muslim reservation in government contracts in Karnataka. He said- Religion based reservation has not been accepted in the written constitution of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. The Karnataka government has recently passed the bill for reservation.
There was pressure on the government during the BJP rule in Karnataka. Was there pressure to appoint the office bearers of the union as a personal assistant to the ministers. On this, Hasbole said- never pressurized for appointment.
Regarding the centenary celebrations of the RSS, Hosabale said- The centenary year of RSS is not a celebration but an opportunity to re-dedicate itself to introspect, acceptance and organize the society. He also announced the Sangh programs for 2025-2026.
Aurangzeb controversy: violence took place after VHP’s performance on March 17
Disputes are going on across the country including Maharashtra over the removal of Aurangzeb’s tomb. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) performed in Nagpur. During the performance, a green cloth filled with cow dung was burnt. According to VHP, it was a symbolic grave of Aurangzeb. Violence erupted in the palace area of Nagpur at 7:30 pm after the video of the incident went viral. Stoning and sabotage began.
The miscreants pelted stones at the houses and vandalized dozens of vehicles parked on the road. Police was also attacked. 33 policemen, including three deputy commissioner rank officials, were injured. DCP Niketan Kadam was attacked with an ax. The police released tear gas shells. There was another clash in Hanspuri area near Old Bhandara Road between 10.30 pm and 11.30 pm. Read full news
February 21: First day- Tribute to Manmohan Singh on RSS stage
The 3 -day All India Representative Assembly of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) began on Friday. At the beginning of the meeting, tributes were paid to the late Sangh activists including former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Tabla player Zakir Hussain, Pritish Nandi.

February 22: Second day- resolution passed on Bangladesh
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh expressed serious concern over Hindu and other minority communities facing violence, injustice and harassment on Hindu and other minority communities at the hands of radical Islamist elements on the second day of the meeting on the second day of the meeting. 10 thousand branches increased in a year
Sangh activities are currently taking place at 73,646 places, out of which 51,710 branches are held daily. This year, the branches of the Sangh have increased by 10,000, causing the total number to 83,129. Weekly activities have also increased by 4,430 compared to the previous year. At present, a total of 1,15,276 activities of the Sangh are being conducted across the country.
