Shopkeeper robbers attacking Chhinda.
Last night in Ludhiana, Punjab, 4 bike riding miscreants carried out the robbery near Jalandhar bypass octroi. The miscreants looted on the strength of sharp weapons and pistols. With the help of people, a crook was controlled while 3 robbers escaped.

The miscreants also fired on the shopkeeper but thankfully, the robber’s fire was missed. The victim shopkeeper has been identified as Jogindra Singh (69) resident Habowal Mohalla Durga Puri Gali No. 7.

On the strength of pistol, miscreants looted
According to the victim Jogindra Singh, he has a grocery shop on Jasian Road near Jalandhar bypass octroi. On Thursday night, Jogindra Singh alias Giani’s son Chhinda was sitting alone at the shop. Then suddenly four unidentified crooks came there. The robbers stretched sharp weapons and pistols as soon as they entered the shop.
A robber demanded cash. On protesting, a crook attacked with a sharp weapon. When Chhinda and father Jogindra Singh put forward their hand to protect, their hand was injured.
Robber’s fire saved from being missed
According to the victim Chhinda, one of the robbers fired from the pistol, but was defended due to the bullet target. Hearing the sound of fire, people gathered nearby. People caught a robber, while the rest of the miscreants escaped with cash of Rs 2 lakh from the flock.
The police team reached the spot and took the arrested robber into custody. Police is investigating footage of CCTV cameras installed at the scene.
