The Department of Revenue and Land Reforms has taken an important decision to make the ongoing revenue Maha-function more effective. The department has issued instructions that now more than two additional camps can be organized if required in any light (panchayat). The department’s secretary Jai Singh has written a letter to all the district collectors saying that in the review of the campaign, it has been experienced that in many circles, only two camps are not able to solve the problems of all the applicants. In such a situation, in view of the local conditions, the Zonal Officers will be able to organize additional camps from their level. Also, it has to be ensured that other activities of the campaign are not affected by additional camps.

The Secretary has also directed that special attention should be paid to Mahadalit tolls and settlements. Provide a copy of Jamabandi by giving priority to there. In many places, a copy of the Jamabandi Register of Arranged Land is not reaching the Mahadalit families on time. Therefore, now the distribution team will have to go to Mahadalit settlements on priority basis and provide per and application form, so that they can appear in the camps and apply for error nutrition.

In this sequence, the department has clarified that it is mandatory for public representatives to provide a copy of the land and prescribed form of the land related to their name. The department believes that by providing this facility to public representatives like the ryots, they will be able to become more active in monitoring and awareness work of the campaign. It is to be known that this revenue Maha-residence, which started from August 16, will run till September 20. During this period, applications are being taken for every copy of online Jamabandi register and house-to-door distribution of various forms, correction in Jamabandi in camps, online to make a missed Jamabandi, Bantwara nomination and succession nomination. More and more villagers are expected to facilitate aside the permission of additional camps.
