With the initiative of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, the way for the return of special survey contract workers who went on strike has become easier. After giving an opportunity for appeal representation by the department, a large number of dismissed personnel are constantly joining the process of returning to service and their number is continuously increasing.

According to the departmental information, about 2800 contract workers have so far applied for re-rehabilitation on the e-mail ID appealed by Patna Headquarters. Out of these, 1004 appeals have been approved, while the process of action on the remaining representation is continuously. Significantly, in the Patna office of the department, a crowd of dismissal workers is gathering to file an appeal representation. Earlier, 3321 contract workers have already left the strike and returned to their duty.

Officials say that this initiative dismissed personnel have got a chance to get into service again. Initially 54 personnel were returned, while this number has increased 402 and now it has reached thousands. The department believes that in the coming days, the remaining special survey contract workers will return to the service by appealing.
