Retro OTT release: Netflix announced on Monday that Surya’s lead role will be a stream on its OTT platform. On Instagram, Netflix also told when the film will be stream for the audience.
When and where will be released on retro OTT
The film will be available for streaming on Netflix from 31 May. Sharing a poster of Retro, a poster of Surya, Netflix wrote, “A holy spear. A secret identity. The saga of the ages. (Fire emoji). See Retro in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam on Netflix on 31 May.”

‘Retro’ came to theaters a few weeks ago, but despite the star-staded cast and high expectations, the film performed well in the Tamil regions and received very little response, especially in the Telugu-speaking areas where its performance was quite low.
During the dramatic release of the film, fans on Twitter praised the film’s stylish performance, attractive action scenes and strong acting, especially the powerful performance of Pooja Hegde’s best performance by Surya and Pooja Hegde’s best performance.

Regarding retro, box office performance
According to Sacnilk.com, Retro earned a net of ₹ 60.26 crore in India, while the gross collection is ₹ 70.97 crore. The film grossed a gross of ₹ 96.97 crore worldwide. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film also stars Pooja Hegde along with Surya. Retro is one of the highest grossing films of Surya’s career.
