Muslim organizations demonstrated in Patna on 26 March against the Waqf Amendment Bill.
The DMK government of Tamil Nadu on Thursday passed a resolution in the Legislative Assembly against the Waqf Amendment Bill. Chief Minister MK Stalin said in protest against the proposal- This bill will end the rights of Muslims. Our demand is that the central government should withdraw the bill.
Stalin said, ‘The central government is bringing schemes that are against the rights, culture and tradition of the state. The Waqf Amendment Bill is destroying the rights of Muslims. The central government never thought about the welfare of Muslims and their rights.
He said- The amendment has said that two non-Muslim people should be part of Waqf. Muslims fear that this is the government’s way of grabbing Waqf properties and it is against religious freedom.

Opposition said- Stalin is doing vote bank politics
BJP MLA Vanthi Srinivasan said that the BJP opposes this proposal on passing the resolution from the state government’s assembly against the Waqf Amendment Bill. The central government has the right to bring amendments. There were many complaints related to Waqf, after which the central government is amending it.
At the same time, Kovai Satyan, spokesperson of AIADMK, the main opposition party of Tamil Nadu, said- it seems that DMK is in a hurry to set a neorating on the basis of religion and language. Why are the parties whose members are in JPC, why are they not challenging Waqf in the judiciary? Why is there a hurry to pass a resolution in the assembly? Trying to provoke people for vote bank politics is extremely condemnable.

Muslim Personal Law Board performance across the country The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) is performing across the country against the Waqf Amendment Bill. The organization protested on March 17 at Jantar Mantar in Delhi to protest against the bill.
On March 26, Muslim organizations protested in Patna, the protest got the support of RJD, Congress and other opposition parties. RJD supremo Lalu Yadav, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav also reached the protest site.
AIMPLB is preparing to perform in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh on 29 March.

Nitish-Chandrababu’s reason for performance in states Bihar has a NDA government under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. At the same time, Chandrababu Naidu of NDA camp is also the Chief Minister in Andhra Pradesh. On the basis of both parties, the central government is running. If these two parties separate from the NDA, then the BJP government will come into a minority.
Actually, the figure of 272 is necessary to form a government at the Center. The NDA currently has 292 MPs. That is, 20 more than the majority. Nitish Kumar’s JDU has 12 MPs and Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP has 16 MPs. The figure of both is of 28 MPs. That is, if both withdrew support, the central government will have 8 MPs less for majority. In such a situation, the government will come under minority.
