Reliance applied for ‘Operation Sindoor’ trademark: Film can be made on this, India’s strike on Pakistan is ‘Operation Sindoor’

India had an air strike at 9 terrorist bases in 7 cities of Pakistan at around 1 pm. This strike is named ‘Operation Sindoor’.

Reliance Industries has applied for a trademark for “Operation Sindoor” on 7 May. This application has been made under Class 41. That is, after getting the trademark, only Reliance will be able to use this word for entertainment and cultural activities.

This application has been made on the same day when India made an air strike at 9 terrorist bases in 7 cities of Pakistan at around 1 pm. More than 100 terrorists were killed in this. The three forces together have named this strike on Pakistan as ‘Operation Sindoor’.

The name is dedicated to women whose husbands were murdered by terrorists after asking religion in Pahalgam on 22 April. This counter -action of India has been taken 15 days after the Pahalgam attack. The terrorists killed 26 people in the Pahalgam attack.

Apart from Reliance, three others also applied for “Operation Sindoor” trademark:

  • Mukesh Chetram Aggarwal
  • Group Captain Kamal Singh Ober (Retired)
  • Alok Kothari

Trademark will be available after review of applications

The Indian trademark registry will now review the applications, this process may take months. If approval is found, Reliance will find exclusive rights to use “Operation Sindoor” in the specified category.

Legal experts say that if there is several applications for the same Wordmark, the registry will first give priority to the application filed or the most reinforced claim.

Reliance can make a film related to military operation

After the trademark application, such speculations are being made that Reliance will use it for a film, documentary or cultural event related to military operations.

Class 41 of trademark registration includes services like Film Production, Event Organization and Educational Activities.
