Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Monday that in April, terrorists in Pahalgam killed people by asking their names and religion, but our soldiers killed the terrorists not on the basis of religion but on the basis of their deeds. Speaking in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, he was referring to the action taken under India’s retaliation under Operation Sindoor after the attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 people were killed.

Rajnath also said that India believes in the concept of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (the whole world is a family) and does not discriminate on the basis of caste or religion. He further said that in Operation Sindoor, our army gave a befitting reply to Pakistan and made an accurate attack on the fixed locations. Several bases associated with terrorist groups were attacked in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir. He was in Jodhpur to inaugurate a defense and sports academy and honor the families of soldiers.
The Defense Minister said that whenever I meet our teenagers and youth, and see the glow and resolve in their eyes, I myself get new energy. This energy is the identity of our upcoming India. He said that the energy and resolve of our youth, we also saw during the operation vermilion. The way our forces gave a befitting reply to Pakistan’s cowardly attacks, the whole world saw it. During Operation Sindoor, our armies also received full support from all border areas. It teaches us that the security of the country is not only the responsibility of the government or the army, every citizen and every youth will be aware and devoted to their duties, only then we will be able to face every difficulty.
