RDX, grenade and weapons seized by Amritsar Rural Police.
The Border Security Force (BSF) and Amritsar Rural Police have seized a large amount of RDX and hand grenades from the Indo-Pak border in a joint operation. It was sent to the Indian border with a drone. After which succeeded in failing a big terrorist conspiracy
.
Giving information, DGP Gaurav Yadav said that in this serious case, an FIR has been registered under the Exclusion Substance Act, Arms Act and Aircraft Act. Police say that this smuggling effort was made from across the border and it could have been aimed at carrying out terrorist activities in Punjab.
The team recovered a huge consignment of weapons and explosives from the fields, including:
972 grams RDX (Explosives)
Two hand grenades
Two liver detonators
A remote control device and charger
Command Mechanism,
8 batteries
A black box
Two .30 bore pistols and four magazines
30 live cartridges
