Born in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, Rajagopal Raju was a pharmacist and spent most of his professional life in North India in connection with his job. Therefore, Ravi Teja lived in many cities including Jaipur, Delhi and Mumbai before stepping into the film world.
Born as Bhupatiraju Ravi Shankar Raju, Ravi Teja started his career in the film world in the early 90s and made a mark with Sindhuram in 1997. Over the years, he has become one of the most trusted stars of Telugu cinema. He was last seen in Mr. Bachchan, which will be released in 2024.
