Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar established the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Nagpur, Maharashtra on the day of the holy festival Vijayadashami, for the nation, culture and social interest in Nagpur, Maharashtra. By strengthening the social, cultural and national structure of the country since the establishment of the Union, by strengthening the life of crores of people on the strength of its works, the work of contributing with full devotion and honesty in nation building is continuously. Although since the day of building the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in the country, there has been a tremendous manner of politics that fulfills the momentary selfishness of various kinds of propagation about it, these people have been subjected to tender politics and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh i.e. RSS has no role in the nation building, by telling the common people, they try to get the common people, who are trying to get the common people.
Anyway, if we look at the long feud of the work done for the nation building of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, it would be clear that the national volunteer has always contributed to the nation, ignoring that contribution is not appropriate in the interest of the country and the interest of the country. Therefore, in time, we have to understand that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is the disciplined cultural organization of the country, the volunteer of the Sangh works to offer his body, mind and time with selfless sense for the nation and society without any greed and greed. The life of a true volunteer is not limited to personal achievements only, but he also makes his breath a means of serving the motherland, he is ready every moment to sacrifice everything for the nation.

Anyway, discipline and morality is very important for the creation of any powerful nation, without these two it is not possible to build any powerful nation and morality and discipline is paramount for the volunteers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), so it has an important role in nation building.
The Sangh holds its special identity worldwide on the basis of the ideology of social, cultural and national building. It is an organization in the country and the world that has made its unique identity in the world as a protector of Sanatan Dharma-culture in the world on the strength of its special working style. After a long journey of hundred years of its construction, now the powerful big non-governmental organizations (NGOs) of the world have been included due to its working style, today, not only India but the whole world, the volunteers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh are spreading and the most important thing is that the Sangh is an organization around the world, which is not aimed at even after its establishment, even after its establishment, its ideology and objectives are not fulfilled, even today continues.
The biggest feature of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh organization is that the group of volunteers devoted with selfless selflessly devoted for the nation building and society of the Sangh always continue to do their work selflessly and does not even try to take credit anytime. However, ever since the digital revolution has come in the country and the world, people have come to know that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has emphasized on organizing the society and increasing cultural glory by lighting the lamp of nation building, unity and cultural awakening since its establishment. In the era of independence of the country, where the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh had done the task of imputing people with the sense of patriotism, while in independent India, the Sangh is working continuously in the interest of the nation and society while trying to end unity and confidence, trying to end the evils prevailing in the society. Today, in the remote areas of the country, the Sangh is continuously carrying out the work of public interest and national interest by reaching through its 55 thousand branches and crores of volunteers.
Talking about the work of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for nation building, the volunteers of the Sangh had done the work of protecting the lives and property of those, helping the displaced from Pakistan during the partition of the country in 1947.
The Sangh worked to play a decisive role in the merger of Dadra, Nagar Haveli and Goa, on the morning of August 2, 1954, the volunteers of the Sangh took off the flag of putragal and hoisted the tricolor and freed them from the possession of the effigy. The Sangh volunteers were involved in the Goa Mukti Sangram, which had run since 1955, he started the movement by reaching Goa under the leadership of Jagannath Rao Joshi on the refusal of armed intervention in Goa, but later when the Sangh activists including Jagannath Rao Joshi were sentenced to ten years, the condition of Goa was deteriorated and finally the Indian government’s soldiers had to intervene in the year 1961 Was independent.
The volunteers of the Sangh have been taking part in the work of social service, disaster management in the country on the basis of discipline and training. Earthquakes, floods, fire, cyclonic storms, war, epidemic (plague and corona etc.) and other national crises are always seen playing an active role in relief and rescue operations regardless of their lives.
Through organizations like Vidya Bharati, Seva Bharti, the Sangh is working in education, health and development of rural areas in the country. Union organizations like Vidya Bharati have carried out the task of promoting education based on Indian culture and values. Lakhs of students are being provided with quality education continuously through thousands of schools in the country. The Sangh is constantly trying to establish values like morality, patriotism and social harmony through education in the younger generation. Today, 86 provincial and regional committees in the country are attached to Vidya Bharati. Under this, 45 lakh students are studying education and rituals under the guidance of 9 lakh teachers in 30 thousand educational institutions. Of these, 49 are teachers and colleges, 2353 secondary and 923 higher secondary schools, 633 pre -primary and 5312 primary, 4164 upper primary and 6127 solo teacher schools and 3679 Sanskar Kendras. At the same time, there are Shishu Vatika, Shishu Mandir, Vidya Mandir, Saraswati Vidyalaya, Higher Education Institute, Teachers Training Center and Research Institute in various remote parts of the country. The number of these Saraswati temples in the country is still increasing continuously and today Vidya Bharati has become the largest non -government education organization in the country.
The Sangh also discharged a huge role in the war with China in 1962. The then Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, which was influenced by which the Sangh was invited to join the 1963 Republic Day parade.
The Sangh is continuously working to prevent the rapid ongoing conversion in the country, continuously working for social harmony and improvement. The way the trap of rapid conversion was laid in the tribal areas of the country, the volunteers of the Sangh have worked to stop it to a great extent by putting their lives.
The Sangh has launched a lot of campaigns to reduce the caste discrimination prevailing in the society and to promote social harmony. It emphasizes united all sections of society. For the upliftment of tribal and deprived communities, union organizations like Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram are working in remote areas of the country.
The Sangh had worked to play a very important role in the JP movement against corruption and in the movement against the emergency in the country and did the work of excluding Indira Gandhi from power.
The volunteers of the Sangh worked to speed up the Ram Mandir movement by sacrificing in the long movement for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram.
Anyway, we have to understand that a powerful powerful India cannot be formed only by the government or a few people sitting in power. Strong India has been formed by collective efforts of millions of people including farmers, soldiers, visionaries, scientists, teachers, saints, laborers, individuals and organizations of the country. Therefore, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s hundred-year travel as a non-governmental organization (NGO) has been glorious for building the nation. In this glorious journey, countless volunteers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh have done the work of dedicating their entire life selflessly to fulfill the resolve of nation building and the welfare of the motherland. All of us should be proud of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) dedicated and glorious journey and always taking inspiration from this journey, all patriotic countrymen should work to make India a world guru.
