Rashmika Mandanna jumps into the 8 hour shift debate, believes it is necessary to fix working hours in the industry

National crush Rashmika Mandanna is currently busy promoting her next film ‘The Girlfriend’. This film has been directed by Rahul Ravindran and it also stars Dixit Shetty.
In a recent interview, Rashmika expressed her opinion on the ongoing debate regarding 8-hour working day in the film industry. He said that overworking is ‘absolutely wrong’ and cannot be done for a long time. He requested everyone to keep their health and happiness first.

The actress admitted that she often does more work than necessary due to feeling responsible for her team. But, she said that she wants the industry to also decide the working hours like 9 to 6 jobs. This will help the actors and crew to strike a perfect balance between work and life.

Actually, the talk of 8-hour working day intensified when the news came that Deepika Padukone left the film ‘Spirit’ due to shooting time issues. Rashmika is the new star to express her views on this.
The film The Girlfriend will release in theaters on November 7, 2025, and Rashmika is confident of its success.
