Randeep Hooda is in discussion about the film Jat these days. In this, his villain’s character is being well liked. Meanwhile, Randeep has revealed in an interview that he had taken many such decisions in his film career, which he still regrets. He admitted that perhaps because of the same decisions, his career could not touch the heights, which could have touched.
In Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, Randeep Hooda was asked if he had ever lost any films due to pride? In response, he said that he had rejected a big film like Rang De Basanti.

Randeep said, ‘I was offered Bhagat Singh’s role in the film. I also gave an audition and liked my work. Rakesh Omprakash Mehra used to come to meet me many times. The director of the film, Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, used to come to me sometimes while driving drunk and used to say to me, take a picture and say it.
According to Randeep, he wanted to do the Rang De Basanti film, but at that time he knew only two people in the film industry. To his girlfriend and director Ram Gopal Varma of that time. Randeep said that his girlfriend was not interested in this film and advised him that he should not do such a small role.
The film Rang De Basanti was released in the year 2006.
