The deployment of Additional Police Force and Rapid Action Force has been started in West Bengal.
Ramnavami is on 6 April, but tension has started increasing in 14 districts of West Bengal. The state government is also tension, due to which the policemen’s holidays have been canceled till April 9. The deployment of additional police forces and rapid action forces has been started from Thursday in Kolkata, Murshidabad, Howrah, East and Western Medinipur, North and South 24 Parganas, Siliguri, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar.
There has been more tension among the communities due to the lack of violence in these districts for the last two days. Additional Director General of Police of South Bengal, Supratim Sarkar, told Bhaskar that we have received an intelligence input to spread unrest under the guise of Ram Navami. There is no kind of nuisance, so strictness has been increased.
Kolkata Police Commissioner Manoj Verma has also removed the order that no weapon will come out in the Ram Navami procession. At the same time, a police officer of North Bengal, a political strong stronghold of the BJP, said that more force has been installed in the hilly districts. CM Mamta Banerjee herself has appealed to all communities not to pay attention to rumors.

Amiya Sarkar, Secretary, Eastern Region of VHP, told Bhaskar that on Ram Navami, two thousand rallies will be taken out in the whole of Bengal. Up to 5 lakh people will come in it.
Preparations for monitoring drone on rallies in sensitive areas
On Ramnavami, this time two thousand rallies have been announced in the state and one and a half crore Hindus are being claimed to leave their homes. A control room has been created to monitor the rumors. Drone will keep an eye on rallies coming out in sensitive areas.
