Amarinder Singh Rajavading and Minister Harpal Cheema.
Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President and Ludhiana MP Amarinder Singh Raja Wading has made serious allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab of spreading ‘tax terrorism’ against the traders. Wading shared this policy while sharing a post on social media
.
Raja Wading said that Punjab Government Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema has directed the state’s GST ETO (Goods and Services Tax Officer) to conduct at least four raids every month and ensure a recovery of at least Rs 8 lakh from each raid.
Citing the data, Wading said that at this time 250 GST ETOs are working in Punjab. If every officer conducts 4 raids in a month, it means that there will be 1,000 raids in the state every month and through this, there will be a recovery of about 80 crore rupees every month, that is, about 960 crore rupees will be ‘collected’ annually.

Called traders robbed
He openly called it the robbery and robbery of the traders, saying that the traders are already getting random calls (ransom calls). It is possible that many traders are also paying due to fear. Now this policy of the government will work to break the back of the business class.
Raja Wading warned that if the government forced and punitive action against the traders, the Congress party would stand with the traders and the government will be given a strong reply.
Punjab’s trade is going out
He said that the industry has already gone out of the state and now business is also on the verge of destroying. He appealed to the Aam Aadmi Party government to leave the anti -trade attitude and give relief to the traders and industries of Punjab to handle the state’s economy.
