Chandigarh: After the weather has been clear for the past few days, rain warning has been issued again in Punjab. According to the Chandigarh Meteorological Department, the weather will be clear for the next two days on April 25 and 26, while the next two days, namely, April 27 and 28, there is a possibility of rain with thunder and strong winds.
Yellow alert has been issued in most of the districts of Punjab on April 27. Majha’s Pathankot and Gurdaspur thundershowers are reported. While in some districts, strong winds with a speed of 30 to 40 km along with thunder and lightning have been predicted. These include Ferozepur, Fazilka, Faridkot, Muktsar, Bathinda in West Malwa, Barnala Mansa, Sangrur Fatehgarh Sahib, Rupnagar and Patiala in East Malwa.
On April 28, Majha’s Pathankot and Gurdaspur have also reported light rain with thunder. Along with this, the weather will be clear in Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Hoshiarpur, Nawan Shahr, Kapurthala, Jalandhar and Ludhiana on this day. While in the rest of the districts, strong winds with a speed of 30 to 40 km along with light rain with thunder and lightning have been predicted.
