According to sources, on Tuesday morning, between 10 and a half to 11:00 am, on receiving information about the deteriorating health of a passenger, the train ticket examiner (TTE) contacted the Agra Control Room and requested to stop the train at umbrella station. A source said, “However, the umbrella station crossed the station as the necessary instructions could not reach the loco pilot on time.”
After this, TTE again contacted and asked for permission to take off the passenger at the next station Kosi, because his health was worsened. “He said” When the train did not stop on Kosi, the personnel present in the train requested once again, after which it was decided to stop the train at Hodal Station but the station master ignored the security standards and turned the train on the loop line which was being repaired. “

Officials aware of the incident said that the personnel repairing the tracks had put a red flag before the start of the loop line, seeing which the cautious crew immediately stopped the train by applying brakes. A Mandal official said, “If the Loco Pilot had not shown time, a major accident could have happened.” Not only the lower level, but senior railway officials should also be held accountable for such serious security lapses.
