CM Mohan Yadav said that the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha is here, everyone is welcome here in democracy. But it is not right to offer a wreath to your grandmother without taking shoes. This is not corresponding to our tradition and culture.

Controversy arose in Madhya Pradesh when Congress leader Rahul Gandhi laid a wreath at the Congress headquarters in Bhopal and offered floral tributes without taking shoes on the statue and picture of his grandmother Indira Gandhi. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav criticized Rahul Gandhi for this. The incident took place just before the Leader of Opposition presided over the series of meetings to launch an organization creation campaign to re -raise the Congress party in BJP -ruled Madhya Pradesh.

CM Mohan Yadav said that the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha is here, everyone is welcome here in democracy. But it is not right to offer a wreath to your grandmother without taking shoes. This is not corresponding to our tradition and culture. Reacting to the comment of CM, the media wing chief of the state Congress Mukesh Nayak said that we are not very rituals … Dust in the eyes in the name of rituals, promoting religious fanaticism in the country in the name of rituals, putting fake people in the name of rituals by wearing fake clothes among the public, such days have ended in India.

He said that the public is fed up with these, now there is only one task: Creating an equitable society and thinking about the development of all while keeping an inclusive attitude. This is the ideology of the Congress. It is noteworthy that the Congress party has suffered a continuous defeat in the 2023 assembly and the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Madhya Pradesh is the second BJP -ruled state after Gujarat, where the Congress organization is starting the creation campaign. Rahul Gandhi will hold several meetings with the State Party’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC), MLAs and former MPs and supervisors appointed for different districts under the organization creation campaign. He will also address party officials and workers across the state before leaving Bhopal in the evening.
