Rahul Gandhi said while repeating the allegations of ‘vote theft’, the picture is still left

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday accused the Election Commission of not performing his duty to implement the principle of ‘one person, one vote’ and cited the claims of irregularities in the voter list and said that the picture remains. Gandhi said that his party is engaged in protecting the constitution and will continue to do so. Rahul Gandhi sharply criticized the Election Commission of India, alleging that he had failed to implement a person, one vote theory, which he described the foundation of the Constitution.

Gandhi accused the Election Commission of neglecting its duty and said that the Congress party is committed to protect the constitution and will continue to do further. He said that we are protecting the constitution. One person, one vote is the foundation of the constitution. It is the duty of the Election Commission to implement a person, one vote, but he has not done his duty. We are protecting the constitution, and we will continue to do it. The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha told reporters in the Parliament House complex that there is not just one seat (where ‘votes are being stolen’), but there are many seats. This is being done at the national level and in a systematic manner. The Election Commission knows this and we also know it.

Earlier today, Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi and party president Mallikarjun Kharge, along with other members of the India Block joined the Parliament on the special intensive revision (SIR) issue. Many opposition MPs reached Parliament wearing a white T-shirt with ‘124 Not Out’ slogans. CPI (M) MP P. Sandosh Kumar said that the opposition intends to intensify its campaign, “The leaders of India parties are more excited and this has become an all -India campaign. We will intensify their fight against SIR. There is more unity between coalition partners. It will be a big fight to save democracy …”

Prominent leaders such as Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar), MP Supriya Sule and DMK MP Kanimozhi were seen holding onions during the protest. On Monday, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi and other MPs of India Block were taken into custody by the Delhi Police while marching from Parliament to the Election Commission office to protest against the alleged irregularities in Bihar. Rahul Gandhi said that the fight of the opposition is not a political fight but a fight to save the constitution.
