New Delhi. It appears that the troubles of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, who made statements about sexual victims in Srinagar during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, may increase further.

In fact, in this case, the Delhi Police had issued a notice to Rahul Gandhi asking him to share the details of those sexual victims, but till now Rahul Gandhi has not responded to this notice. In such a situation, now the Delhi Police has reached his house. In this regard, Special CP (Law and Order) Sagar Preet Hooda has reached Rahul Gandhi’s residence today.

On the matter, Special CP (Law and Order) Sagar Preet Hooda said, โ€œWe have come here only to talk to him (Rahul Gandhi). On January 30, Rahul Gandhi made a statement in Srinagar that during his visit he met several women and they told him that they had been raped. We are trying to get details from them so that justice can be provided to all those victims.โ€

Significantly, after reaching Srinagar in his Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi had said that women are being sexually exploited here. We have received complaints that women are being physically assaulted here. What was it then, by issuing a notice on this statement of Rahul, the Delhi Police has asked him to give us information about all those women.

What’s in the notice?

  • When and where did the women tell this to Rahul after meeting you?
  • Did he already know these women?
  • Do you still know about those women?
  • Do you personally verify your statement which is on social media?
  • Did the women also inform you about any specific incident?

On the other hand, according to the information received on the matter, a senior officer of Delhi Police went to meet Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday after taking the notice, but Rahul Gandhi did not meet him even after waiting for 3 hours.
