PU’s foreign students will go to a great relief fees, given a more discount

In Chandigarh, Punjab University (PU) has given a great relief to foreign students this year. The University has not increased its fees and also exempted from the enrollment test, so that maximum foreign students come here to study here.

Let us know that students from countries come to PU like Nigeria, Iran, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Thailand and Canada each year. Many of these students come to the ICCR scholarship, which is provided by the Government of India. At the same time, the university has midnify the fees from SAARC and developer countries.

Din Prof. of PU. Krishna Mohan said that Rules created by PU last year to increase the number of foreign students to implement this time. Dean International Students Pro Krishna Mohan said the purpose of the university is to attract the maximum foreign students to study.

So far more than 700 foreign students have applied for the session for 2024-25. These include students in the countries developed like US and Canada. Like the last year, the university also exempted him in an entry test this year.

Last year, 139 NRI (non-Indian citizen) students applied for entry into PU. In addition, 34 students of Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq had applied. Of the people were 12 girls and 22 boys. Some of them for PhD, some for graduation and some had applied for post graduation.
