In Punjab, summer is increasing day by day. Meanwhile, yellow alert has also been issued in Punjab regarding heatwave (heat). According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature in the state has increased by an average of 1.1 degrees Celsius and recorded 4.5 degrees above normal
.
According to the Meteorological Department, while the alert of Lu is in the state on one side, the possibilities of rain are also being expressed in Pathankot and Hoshiarpur adjacent to Himachal Pradesh. A warning of rain, storm along with strong winds has also been issued here. There has been no rain activity in other districts of the state and the sky will remain clear. This has made the state of heatwave more serious.
Lu’s alert will remain till 29 April
The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of heat stroke in many districts of Punjab till 29 April. The department has issued a yellow alert in many parts of the state.
26 april: Heatwave alert has been issued in Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ferozepur, Moga, Ludhiana, SAS, Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala, Fazilka, Faridkot, Barnala, Sangrur, Mansa, Bathinda and Muktsar.
27-28 april: Heatwave warnings continued throughout Central Punjab and Southern districts. Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur and Nawanshahar will remain from the entire state. The other entire Punjab will be in the grip of heat stroke.
29 april: Some districts expect relief in Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Mohali, Nawanshahar, Rupnagar, but the possibility of continuing heat in Malwa.
