These include 86 Mahindra Bolero and 12 Maruti Ertiga cars. He said that mobile data terminals and GPS are installed in these vehicles. With this, whenever someone dials the 112 helpline number and asks for help, the police immediately reaches the spot.

CM Mann said that since Punjab is a border state, attempts are made to disrupt peace here, but the Punjab Police and BSF have taken commendable action. New vehicles and other hi-tech equipment will be procured by releasing the budget to update the police.

Bhagwant Mann said that a meeting was held with Google officials in Mumbai to work on the modernization of the police. In the near future, Google will be modernized by the Punjab Police along with the police officers. He said that many works related to Punjab Police will be done in the near future. Out of this, Rs 41 crore has been released for the communication system. Wireless software can be purchased from it.

30 crore released for cyber equipment

CM Mann said that Rs 30 crore has been released to update the Cyber ​​Wing. He said that the rate of cyber crime has increased a lot. Due to this, the timely arrest of the accused has become a challenge. But with the help of hi-tech equipment, the police will be updated and become hi-tech.
