The proposal in this regard had already passed in the cabinet meeting by the Punjab government. At the same time, after this, the members of the Punjab Civil Medical Services Association had a meeting with the government on 17 April. On this occasion, Health Secretary Kumar Rahul had assured the association that soon a thousand posts will start the recruitment process of doctors. It has been sent to the Finance Department for approval.
