Minister Baljit Kaur said that under Ashirwad Yojana, girls of Scheduled Caste/Christian community, daughters of widows of any caste, daughters of backward classes and economically backward families and Scheduled Caste widows/divorced women at the time of their marriage. . In this regard, Cabinet Minister Dr Baljit Kaur has directed the social justice and empowerment officials to deposit Rs 51,000 in the bank accounts of each beneficiary of Ashirwad scheme through DBT mode before March 31. It may be mentioned that during the financial year 2022-23 under Ashirwad Yojana, an amount of Rs. 18.38 crore has been given to 6 beneficiaries of November 2021, remaining 2192 beneficiaries of March 2022 and 1407 beneficiaries of April 2022 for financial assistance to backward classes and economically weaker sections. was issued
