Pratap Singh Bajwa said that the people of Punjab, my party and I believe that the flood of Punjab was mainly man -made disaster. The Meteorological Department warned of heavy rains in Punjab during the May-June months. The Central Water Commission controls dams. Punjab continued to get money from the Center for natural disasters, but why did Punjab not give its share in this amount? Bajwa also criticized a special session for lack of discussions like Question Hour and Zero Hour.

Bajwa said that the Prime Minister also gave only Rs 1600 crore to the state, ie 8%. I believe that Irrigation Minister Mana Saheb and Irrigation Secretary are personally responsible. If they had slowly released the water, we would not have been so harmful… Honor should tell Saheb that all the special sessions he has called till now, what was the result of them … There is no Question Hour and Zero Hour in this special session of the assembly.
