A fierce fire broke out in Hoshiarpur, Punjab after a suspected road accident associated with an LPG tanker. Two people have died in this incident. The incident took place in an industrial area of ​​Mandiala village. Police said the fire spread rapidly and took around 15 shops and four-five residential houses. Fire brigade reached the spot and the fire was controlled. The incident took place around 10 pm on Friday night. Deputy Commissioner Jain and Senior Superintendent of Police Sandeep Kumar Malik reached the spot and inspected the relief works.

Ambulances also reached the spot to take the injured to the hospital. Hoshiarpur Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that the fire probably caused a road accident. Scorched patients have been admitted to the hospital. A person has been reported to have casualties … It appears that a gas leak occurred after a gas tanker’s road accident … It is an industrial area, so maybe some migrants may have been injured here.

Punjab minister Ravjot Singh also reached the spot to take stock of the situation and rescue operations. Singh, while talking to the media, said that the situation is such that he cannot be told.
