Public Works and Power Minister Punjab Harbhajan Singh ETO said that the renovation of the state’s roads is the main priority of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He was addressing the residents of the area today in the presence of Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Jai Krishna Rodi while inaugurating the work of strengthening the 16.40 km long Garhshankar-Santokhgarh road at a cost of Rs 14.32 crore in Adda Jhungi of Garhshankar.

Speaking on this occasion, Electricity Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO said that a record breaking 14311 MW of electricity was provided in Punjab in the previous paddy season and agriculture was provided with electricity for 12 to 14 hours instead of 8 hours. He said that today the news about power crisis and black out in Punjab are completely false.
On this occasion, he said that after the departure of the Channi government, PCPCL was responsible for the subsidy of more than 9 thousand crores, which will be given by his government in the coming time, along with agriculture and many other ways. Government will give subsidies of On this occasion, he said that the Punjab government fulfilling its guarantee has delivered 600 units of free electricity to the people due to which 99 percent of Punjab’s electricity bill has come to zero today.
