PTI will do nationwide movement for the release of Imran Khan, Shehbaz Sharif Sarkar formed New Paramilitary Force to crush the opposition

There is a possibility of deteriorating the situation in Pakistan soon because the Shahbaz Sharif government and the Pakistani Army together have made up their mind to crush the entire opposition. Let us tell you that the developments in Pakistan in recent times are not only exposing the political situation there but are also telling how the army and the government are misusing laws and institutions in the name of “security” to save power. Let us tell you that the manner in which the Pakistan government has announced the formation of a new central paramilitary force ‘Federal Constabulary’ amid warning of the proposed national movement of Imran Khan’s party PTI, gives a clear indication that the ruling class of Pakistan is now preparing to completely crush the opposition with the help of military strength in the name of democracy.
Let us tell you that this new force is being said to be the expansion of Frontier Constabulary (FC) already deployed in the northwestern areas of Pakistan. The only difference is that it can now be deployed in the name of suppressing protests and dealing with terrorism across the country by giving it the status of ‘National’ Security Force. Therefore, the suspicion of Imran Khan’s supporters and human rights institutions is justified that the real purpose of this force is not internal security, but to force political disagreement.

Let us tell you that the public outrage in Pakistan at this time has become the biggest challenge for the Shahbaz Sharif government and the army in the coming days in protest against the arrest of Imran Khan. In protest against Imran Khan’s arrest, protests in Pakistan were violent in the past, Islamabad came to a standstill and the power establishment promoted it as a ‘national security crisis’. In the same guise, strict action was taken against Imran supporters and party leaders dozens of times before. Now in this sequence, this new security force is being legalized so that any protest can be strictly crushed later.
Meanwhile, several organizations, including the Human Rights Commission, have expressed concern that such sensitive security reforms without parliamentary debate are a sign of democracy in Pakistan. However, this is not the first time that powerful institutions are imposing decisions directly bypassing Parliament. The role of army, intelligence agencies and now such paramilitary forces in Pakistan’s political structure has already been under question.
If seen, this decision of Shahbaz Sharif government is the warning of Imran Khan’s party that this force will be used to suppress the opposition in an old style. If this happens, the already delicate democratic fabric of Pakistan will suffer a deeper shock. This step can further intensify the cycle of dissatisfaction and violence in the country. If seen, in the name of democracy, the use of military and semi -regional forces in the name of democracy is becoming more difficult to get out of the place where Pakistan has brought Pakistan.

Let us tell you that there is neither any place left for the opposition nor for the democratic rights of common citizens. The tendency to crush every disagreement as a ‘security crisis’ is not only making Pakistan’s political future bleak, but is pushing the country towards a permanent internal confrontation.
