In view of the ongoing harvest season, Punjab Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO has appealed to the farmers that if they see loose electrical wires or any sparking incident in their area, immediately contact the nearest Punjab State Power. Corporation Limited (PSPCL) to inform the office.

The Power Minister urged the farmers to harvest one marla area of wheat around the transformers first to avoid any untoward incident. He said that a ten meter perimeter should be kept wet around the transformers installed in the fields so that if any incident like sparking takes place then this incident can be stopped easily and automatically.
