Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said on Sunday that Karnataka’s Railway Budget has increased from Rs 835 crore before 2014 to Rs 7,500 crore after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister.
Vaishnav said in his address after Prime Minister Modi flagged off the ‘Yellow Line’ of Bengaluru Metro, “The important state like Karnataka was getting only Rs 835 crore before 2014. Due to Modi, he is now getting Rs 7,500 crore. Also, projects worth Rs 54,000 crore are going on in Karnataka. We are redeveloping 61 stations in the state under the Amrit Bharat Scheme. ‘
According to the website of the letter information office (PIB), the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme is a long -term plan to upgrade railway stations at various stages. It includes plans to develop it on the basis of requirement for every station. Vaishnav said that India’s electronics sector has seen a very rapid growth in the last 11 years.
He said, “Our electronics production has increased by six times to Rs 12 lakh crore in the last 11 years.” He said that exports have increased by eight times to more than three lakh crore rupees in the same period.
Vaishnav said, “Eleven years ago, no one could think that India would export electronics.” He said that India has benefited the entire country including Karnataka by Prime Minister Modi’s efforts to lay a strong foundation of 2047.
‘Developed India 2047’ is a direction of the Government of India to develop the country in 2047 until 2047. Vaishnav said, “If India has become the second largest manufacturer of mobile phones in the world, then Devanhali is emerging as a major iPhone construction center in Namma Bengaluru.
