New Delhi: President Ramnath Kovind today honored Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna award to Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Neeraj Chopra.
Neeraj Chopra made history by winning a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Neeraj is the second Indian to win a personal gold medal. Earlier, shooter Abhinav Bindra had won a gold medal in the men’s 10m air rifle at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Neeraj won gold medals at the 2018 Asian Games and Commonwealth Games. He also broke the national record by winning gold in both. Neeraj set a world record by winning gold at the Tokyo Olympics.
