President Niwas Retreat and Draupadi Murmu in Chharanda, Shimla
President Draupadi Murmu’s Himachal tour has been finalized. The President will reach Shimla on May 5 and return to Delhi on 9 May. In view of the President’s visit, Himachal Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena has called an important meeting of various departments today.

In this meeting to be held in the state secretariat, instructions will be given to the concerned officials related to security arrangements, improving the plight of roads, proper arrangements for water and electricity. This meeting will also include top officials of the President’s Secretariat, Ministry of Home Affairs, State Government.

SPG has also reached Shimla as soon as the President’s office finalized the visit of Draupadi Murmu. After this, the SPG has increased the security cordon in the President’s residence The Retreat at Chhrabda. The security of IIT Mandi campus and Atal Tunnel Rohtang has also been increased.

Draupadi Murmu will visit Shimla on 5 May. On May 6, Shimla -based Army Training Command will attend the program held at Article. On May 7, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) will visit Mandi and Atal Tunnel on 8 May. Will return to Delhi from Shimla on 9 May.

Every time the President arrives in Shimla’s Chhabra for summer-vacation and returns to Delhi after spending 4 to 6 days in the mountains.
Draupadi Murmu will also stay in the historical heritage of the retreat. His family will also come to Shimla along with Murmu.
President of IIT Mandi program will increase dignity
IIT Mandi is going to organize a grand event on completing 15 years outstanding journey in its educational, research and innovation. President Draupadi Murmu will include it as the chief guest. The theme of this event has been kept at 15 years-CFA 2025 of the theme achievements.
During this period, focus will be focused on emerging technical fields such as Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Semiconductors, Quantum Technology, Advanced Material and Entrepreneurship. It will include thoughtful leaders and researchers from all over the world.
