Preparations for President Murmu’s two -day Jharkhand tour in full swing

The preparations for the two-day visit to Jharkhand on 10-11 June of President Draupadi Murmu are in full swing. An official here gave this information on Friday. Murmu will reach Deoghar on June 10, where she will offer prayers at Sebaba Baidyanath Dham in 12 Jyotirlingas. She will attend the first convocation of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Deoghar on 11 June.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the services of the Internet Department (IPD) and Operation Theater to the nation during the visit to the city on 12 July 2022.

Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari reviewed the preparations for the President’s visit on Thursday. During the meeting, Tiwari emphasized uninterrupted power supply, proper lighting arrangements on the President’s route, cleaning of roads and maintenance of basic infrastructure.

Security system has also been tightened in view of the visit of Murmu. According to an official statement here, Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag Gupta said that four senior Indian Police Services (IPS) officers are being deployed to oversee the arrangements.
