On the occasion of the Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Guru of the Sikhs, the Sirmaur Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, a large number of accompaniments from India and abroad came to bow down in Golden Temple Amritsar today. Devotees took a bath in the holy lake and the good of Sarbat (the whole humanity)

On this auspicious occasion, the Sangatas enjoyed Gurbani Kirtan by bowing in the Golden Temple and resolved to adopt Guru ji’s teachings in life. The Sangatas said that they consider themselves fortunate that they can pray for the welfare of humanity by bowing down in Darbar Sahib on the Prakash Parv of Guru Arjan Dev Ji.

Golden Temple was built in 1604

Giani Kuldeep Singh said that Guru Arjan Dev Ji not only built Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) but also wrote the first form of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in the year 1604 and got his first light in Golden Temple. Baba Budha ji was first given service as the main gland. Guru ji showed the way to the whole humanity with his amritamayi speech and when the time came, he got martyrdom on the land of Lahore with full peace.
